The Professional In Human Resource International (formerly known as HRBP) is an internationally relevant certification to validate professional level in human resource knowledge and skill and demonstrate mastery of widely accepted technical and operational HR principles in a single international setting.
Exam Format & Length?
Computer-based testing (Pearson Onvue) 145 scored questions (mostly multiple- choice) + 25 pretest questions
Three hours and 15 minutes.
HRCI offers year-round assessment opportunities. Testing options vary by geographic location and availability.
PHRi certification is valid for three years after testing. To maintain a PHRi credential, one must earn 60 recertification credits over the three years or retake the exam
Who can apply?
Must meet one of the following conditions for education and/or experience
Have at least one year of experience in an HR position + a master’s degree or global equivalent,
Have at least two years of experience in an HR position + a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, OR
Have at least four years of experience in an HR position.
